Backdropped against an exhibition of rare and never-before-exhibited Warhol photographs, Summer Meeting is a celebration— conceived by TMR for Pride Month— that re-imagines a night at Andy Warhol’s Factory through a queer Latinx lens.
About the Moment.
Summer Meeting is a celebration at NeueHouse Hollywood— conceived by TMR for Pride Month— that re-imagines a night at Andy Warhol’s famous Factory through a queer Latinx lens. Backdropped against an exhibition of rare and never-before-exhibited Warhol photographs, Summer Meeting features a DJ set by DJ ReyJake, a photo booth by Amina Cruz in an installation by Hermano Flower Shop, and a drag performance by Xotica Erotica.
About the Artists.
DJ ReyJake is a DJ based in Los Angeles, CA.
Hermano is a flower driven arts center/flower shop located in Palm Springs, California. They provide progressive flower arrangements and installs to the Coachella Valley. Hermano also correlates flowers with music and arts, providing audio/video productions for local creatives in the Coachella Valley.
Amina Cruz works and lives in Los Angeles, CA. She's interested in film photography and screen printing. Her current work explores queer brown creative embodiment and cultural identity throughout the Americas.
Xotica Erotica is a drag performer who lives and works in Los Angeles.
