About the Artist Talk.
Artists Elizabeth Ibarra, Ken Taylor & Lily Ramirez join TMR Executive & Artistic Director César García-Alvarez for a casual IG Live conversation that will explore the concept of home and the way it manifests across their practices. This artist talk series, titled Jangueo, is staged in conjunction with TMR’s current exhibition, Aqux, that brings together 23 Latinx artists to re-imagine ideas about home and the ways it shapes our sense of personhood.

About the Artists.
Ken Taylor received his BA from California State University in 2014. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions at The Mistake Room, Guadalajara; The Newsstand Project, Los Angeles; and Capital Gallery, San Francisco. His work has been included in group exhibitions at Fort Gansevoort, New York; The Pit, Los Angeles; Ever Gold [Projects], San Francisco; Steve Turner, Los Angeles; Penske Projects, Montecito. He lives and works in Pasadena, CA.
Lily Ramirez is a visual artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. She received her BFA in 2013 from Otis College of Art and Design. Her work has been presented at Art Share LA, Los Angeles; Post Gallery, Los Angeles; and Also Gallery, Los Angeles.
Elizabeth Ibarra currently works and resides in Los Angeles CA. Recent exhibitions include a solo shows with Rental Gallery, NY, and the Newsstand Project, Los Angeles CA. Her work has been reviewed and featured in Artforum and the Brooklyn Rail.
